Asus GTX 1060 3GB Dual Graphics Card

Today I got my new 1060 in the mail, I'm upgrading from a r9 270x. I went ahead and did the replacement process correctly, however when I go to turn on my pc, it doesn't display anything and the VGA led on my mobo is illuminated. The PCI slot on my mobo is fine, I know this because I'm currently using my 270x in the same slot. So far, I've tried using both pcie slots on my mobo, and using DVI instead of HDMI, however those don't seem to help me at all. The white led by the power socket on the 1060 turns on, so it is receiving power.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Solution
try the card in another PC, clear your CMOS , boot with the both cards and the monitor connected to the old one to see if the new one is detected by device manager...

all I can think of .
