hi I bought a prebuilt computer used PowerSpec G315 off craigslist. is my Asus GTX 1070 8gb overheating. When I play Battlefield 4 on ultra my card gets to 78c v-sync off. I see people with the same specs and same settings on youtube they only get to 65c. is It safe to keep playing at 78c? Will I kill my card?

What's the exact MODEL of your GPU ? No, 78 C is not called as overheating. That TEMP value is still within safe limits. The max GPU temp value as advertised by NVIDIA is 94 C. After this, the GPU will throttle down the CLOCK speeds, as a safety measure, to prevent any damage to the GPU.

IF you are worried about high temps, then use the MSI Afterburner tool to create a CUSTOM FAN profile curve. How is the airflow inside your cabinet ? How many intake/exhaust FANS have you installed ?
