Asus GTX 1070 Founders Edition PSU

I found out that i would need to upgrade from my current PSU or 330w (external) to 550w supply for the Founders Edition. I will be installing it into my x51 R2, cn anyone give me a few options for PSUs that would work for my rig? Does it have to be external or 550w or higher supplies need to be internal?

wait wait WAIT does that pc use a external power supply?
also can you even fit a 1070 in that rig??
