Asus Gtx 1070 strix Fan problem?

Hi I have a Asus gtx 1070 strix but only 2 of the 3 fans turn on while im playing The witcher 3 Does someone know when will the 3rd fan turn on, because I know the fan turn on depending on the temperature.

Yeah, I think the third fan turns on after it reaches a certain temp so don't worry about it. If the Witcher 3 is not making it hot enough, the fan won't kick in. If you can use something to set custom fan profile to make it spin or you could run a GPU benchmarks to see if it kicks in.

Yep, mine is the same. I built my new rig yesterday with the ROG GTx1070 Strix OC and spent today gaming... (well, spending more time looking in the case than at the screens lol)

Playing fallout 4 was silent until the gpu started working harder. The 2 outside fans spun up first, then i launched a ton of mini nukes for a while and sure enough the 3rd (central fan) spun up.

Wierd at even 56 Degress what I can see my Asus 1070 OC is spinning at least 3rd and 2nd, don't know about the first one, lol

I guess m also in this group! Got Asus Strix 1070 OC yesterday and today gaming but middle fan doesnt kick in till i ran stress test and when under stress middle one still runs at low rpm comparatively. Now what should we all believe? Thats its just a nature of this card and no hardware fault?
Im still worried but after reading every single thread i think this is like that
