I just had cleaned the card out of dust and plugged it back in and it's running extremely hot. I had to ramp up the fans to 100% speed. So that's definitely not normal. I also switched to a smaller h210i case by nzxt, but I would think there is enough clearance? I was quite scared for a moment when the temperatures spiked up instantly. Should I attempt to change the thermal paste on it? Could original thermal paste be the issue? It's also running 57 degrees celsius while idling. I also just opened up cs:go menu and it went right up to 91 degrees celsius.

Very small gap - maybe not enough space to "suck" enough fresh air. PSU Fan is on the upper side (fan looks in GPU direction)? And yes fresh thermal paste is never bad but never had a problem with that on a GPU.
