Recently I had to format my HD because of a virus, but when I install the video card driver from NVidia after I restart the system, It freezes!
Computer will NOT start or load anything.

I re-format several times, tried installing different versions of the Nvidia drivers, but the result is the same, won't load windows completely, it just freezes to a point where I have to go into the safe mode and uninstall the driver so it will load the default "Standard VGA Graphics Card" driver...

It was running great before with the latest NVidia drivers, but now after formatting it won't...

Any suggestions???

Video Card: Asus GTX660-DC2O-2GD5
Motherboard: MSI 990FXA-GD80 V2
OS: Windows 7 SP1 Ultimate 64-Bit
240GB SSD for the O.S.

Solution
Try using a different HDD as the main OS drive and see if the problem persists with the hardware (your GPU).

In the case that it does then you can eliminate that it's the HDD that you continue to format's fault. In the case that it doesn't you need to format it and then use it as a secondary drive, the main drive should have an up to date anti virus and scan that baby clean.
