Is it compatible with my pc ?

You may have to change the PSU it will need at last 500W with a 6-pin (PCIe) external power cable to power the card.
But there will be huge bottleneck with the CPU you have.

Why a 660 ti specifically? There are cards that can be powered through the PCI-e slot that are more powerful than the 660 ti.

Yes i would do that. Because you will never get the full performance of that card due to your weak CPU
There's no point putting anything more that GT 730 2GB/4GB to this system. Also you dont't need to look for a new PSU if go with this card.

Yes it's cheap and also better than 750/750 ti/1030 it's nearly a 1050 ti but with a 2 GB VRAM. I also have 660 it's really good really cheap. But i don't think it would work in the same way if you pair it with a C2Q . Those CPU are now almost outdated from gaming but good for normal use. As the whole point of your upgrade is gaming i would say just look for a new PC.

I'm assuming that's used.
Modern and semi modern cards that could be used with the old psu include:
(from slowest to fastest)
GTX 750, GT 1030, RX 550, GTX 750 ti, GTX 1050, RX 560, GTX 1050 ti, GTX 1650.
I wouldn't go with GT 730 or even GT 740 as running games on those is just utterly hopeless.

Yes with this one you will not need a powersupply but don't expect the same performance when it pair with i5/i7. Remember what you have is for more worst than a 3rd gen i3. if the case is enough and if the PSU powerful enough then you can even add a GTX 1080 there but putting a card is not the point. Performance gap between the CPU and GPU should be your point unless you gonna pay a lot of money for high end card where you can't even use 30% of it's full performance that why i told you to get a CPU first but if you in hurry then go for it. Later you can upgrade the rest of the components.

Then it's fine go for it there will be a improvement. If Gaming is your thing then sooner or Later you will have look for CPU Upgrade with new Motherboards and RAMs. Otherwise it's not necessary.
