I just received an asus gtx 760 dc2-oc. I have an old system that i don't think will be able to handle this new video card. What components do i need to upgrade/purchase in order to come close to maximizing the full potential of the ASUS gtx 760 DC2-OC in terms of gaming. I have a $200 MAX budget. This is my current system:
1. Powersupply: Rise 500W (generic and does not have a pcie power connector. definitely needs to be replaced)
2. Mobo: asrock n68c-gs fx
3. Processor: amd athlon 64x2 4600+
4. RAM: 2 Gb pc800 ddr2
5. CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper TX3
6. Regular mid size computer tower (removed side panel so there is sufficient airflow)
*I know my budget is not enough to fully utilize the capabilities of the gtx 760 but i can live with whatever comes closest.
* I do not plan on doing any sli or crossfire or multiple video card setups
* I only use a single monitor and don't plan on using anymore than that
* I do have plans of overclocking the processor and the video card if its possible with my new system
