Hello,
I've noticed that the temperatures on my ~2 week old Asus GTX 770 are a bit higher than I was expecting, and was wondering if they were normal. When playing demanding games, namely Crysis 2 and Metro Last Light, I can easily see my temperatures reaching 72-75 C on the high side, but I've seen as hot as 79.
These are stock clocks, stock fan speeds. My ambient temperatures are on the high side, normally between 23 C and 27 C, according to my thermometer (although they feel quite a bit hotter than that 😛). Case airflow is quite good.
Are these temperatures acceptable for a stock Asus GTX 770? I've never seen them throttle the card, but I was expecting a bit better cooling than this.
Thanks.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that my idle temperatures are fine (currently sitting at 31 C, but averaging ~33/34).
