First of all, hi to all of you. ;)

I have recently set up a a brand new Desktop composed by the following components:
Cpu: Intel i7-4790K
Mobo: ASUS Z97 PRO
GPU: ASUS GTX960 2Gb
Ram: Crucial 16GB (8x2) DDR3-1600 CL9
HD: Samsung 840 EVO SSD, 250Gb, WD Caviar Green 3Tb
PSU: Coooler Master V550 (80 PLUS Gold)

Monitor: Not yet arrived, at the moment using a Smart TV Samsung 40 LCD

Everything is working perfectly, except the GPU.
When I remove the GPU, the system boots up nicely, and I can enter the BIOS and the SO.

When I have the GPU, the system seems booting up fine, but I am not able to see anything. ( I get a black screen)
The Q-code of the Mobo is A0, which is exactly the same with no GPU.
The GTX has a white light (which seems OK), and I notice a short spinning of its fans just for few seconds.
After that, everything seems working, but I am not able to see anything (connected in HDMI).
I have tryed switching the HDMI from the CPU to the GPU, but I do not receive any signals.

I have tried to update the BIOS of the mobo with the lastest update, but still no signal.
I have tried two different PCI-E 16x slots, but still nothing...

Could you help me to solve this mistery ? :(

Thanks in advance

Thx for you answer. You're giving me some hope :)
Could I ask you what kind of mobo do you have ? ... did you flash your mobo, right ?
Do you thnk you really need an old gpu in ?
Sorry so many questions, but I am a little bit lost :(

Regards

Not an old GPU, just one that works with your current setup. My mobo is the stock Dell one that came with my XPS 8700 (Special Edition)
