Is this a good card compared to msi gtx 1060 gaming x twin frozr?

Also what power pins do this card have? I heard 6+8 pins

The cards are about neck and neck. In some games, the 980 is faster, in others the 1060 is faster. Get whatever is cheaper and keep in mind that the 1060 has more memory. I'd get the 1060.

The 980 is around $120 cheaper

A reference 980 only performs 1% worse on average compared to a 1060. For a 120 dollars cheaper it is no comparison. Get the 980, or wait for prices to come down.
