ASUS GTX 980 won't fit inside Bitfenix Pandora

Hi, I just got working on my case and well, unfortunately, when I finally decided to install the graphics card, the back of the case blocks the card from slipping right in.

I hope I'm doing something wrong, but if not, can you guys recommend an mATX case that will fit my card? Because I do not want to buy another one only for it to not fit again. I am currently looking at the Carbide Air 240 case.

So you're not fitting it right.

Have you removed the HDD cage?

Removing the hdd cage will solve the issue?? But it's all the way in the bottom there! It's the width that's the problem.

There should be instructions on how to fit long GPUs with the case.

What do you mean by long? The graphics card is blocked by the sides, not by the hdd cage.

I don't think they bothered to read the whole question, the case is 160(W) the asus card is wider than most cards so it won't fit in most slim cases such as yours just won't fit it Because your card is is 5.3in but after the cable management stuff in the back, and the stand offs, you are probably left with under 5in of clearance for the card, so you won't be able to use it.

Hi, I was also looking to use the 980 Strix in the BitFenix Pandora for a future built. I found two reviews where they used an XFX R9 290X, which is 143mm in height. The 980 Strix is 134.4mm height according to Asus, so I don't know where could the problem be?
You maybe have to take the back frame of the case appart in order to fit it? Or perhaps it's the top edge of the graphics card that's too straight?
