I'm upgrading the graphics card on my rig (Acer Predator AG3620-UR318 3.4 GHz Core i7-3770 with 12 GB DDR3 SDRAM) from an NVIDIA GeForce GT 630, and am trying to decide between the ASUS and the EVGA 680 4GB cards.

I'd buy a GeForce GTX TITAN if "the finance department" (aka my wife) would let me get away with it.... :)

Solution
The Asus DC2 has a great cooler but the extra VRM phases on the EVGA Classified would have me leaning that way. In order of preference:

EVGA Classified
Gigabyte GV-N680OC-4GD
Asus DC2*
EVGA FTW
EVGA SC

If ya wanna please the wifie for a very small tradeoff in performance, I'd grab the 2 GB 670, and in that category, I'd take the Asus at the 1st place position
