Asus h110m-k CPU and RAM

hey guys my friend gave me h110m-k Asus motherboard, found a pretty good deal for i7 7700k and going to purchase it , will it be compatible with this MB? i read about some kind of BIOS update thing can i do it on my own? and about RAM also found good deal with 2400 MHZ 8gb Crucial RAMs , will this RAM also be compatible with the MB ?



p.s going to update the MB in the future that's why i am going for i7 7700k to have it on Z motherboard in the near future

You will need a compatible 6xxx series CPU to flash the BIOS to version 3016 for that board to work with a Kaby Lake 7xxx series CPU.

and i can manually flash the BIOS right? i thought it had to come with the manufacturer release
 
You will need a compatible 6xxx series CPU to flash the BIOS to version 3016 for that board to work with a Kaby Lake 7xxx series CPU.

You can not flash the BIOS without a compatible CPU. Might want to mention that when advising people to spend money on parts that won't work together otherwise.
 


Do you suggest that the H110 chipset will not support the 7700k without a bios upgrade?
Are the older BIOS version only prepared for 6th generation ships?
