On this page at asus.com there is an odd comment under memory specifications:
"Due to Intel® chipset limitation, this motherboard can only support single-side memories when four modules are installed and they will run at the maximum transfer rate of DDR3 1066 MHz."
This doesn't make sense as the board is a DDR4 model, this warning is not mentioned in the owners manual, and none of the other H170 based boards from ASUS have this warning on their respective specifications page.
Think this is just a typo on the website? A cut-and-paste mistake maybe?
