Question Asus H510M-K, can't boot from NVMe SSD.

Hi!
I'm building a PC for my brother. I don't have new RAM and an SSD at the moment so I decided to pull them out from my PC and install into his for the time being, just to test it out if everything is fine. I have Windows 10 installed on that drive, however I can't boot from it. It is detected in BIOS, however it's not detected as a bootable device. Only when CSM is enabled, it detects the SSD as a bootable device, but still refuses to boot from it. I checked my BIOS setting on my PC and tried to match them with my brother's PC (Fast Boot and Secure Boot disabled, UEFI), I checked if the Windows installation is in GPT and it is. I also upgraded the BIOS to the newest version. Since nothing has worked, I tried to re-install Windows but it resulted in a "Load driver" error. If you have any idea what else could I try, I would be grateful for any help. BTW I tried to plug the SSD back to my PC just to check if it still boots on it and it does.

Brother's PC specs:
Asus H510M-K
i5-11400F
Asus RTX 3050

My PC specs:
MSI H410M
i3-10100F
Asus RTX 3050

The SSD I'm talking about is Kingston NV1 PCIe NVMe M.2 500 GB

Hope everything is understandable, English isn't my first language

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You won't be able to boot off of that drive, since it's from another system. Even if you do manage to get to OS GUI, expect to be met with BSoD's or instability issues. Might also want to verify the BIOS version for your brother's motherboard.

Okay, but what can could be the deal with the Windows installer telling me to load a driver? BIOS version is 2001

I tried to re-install Windows but it resulted in a "Load driver" error.
Where did you source the installer for your OS and when did you fabricate the installer?

I also upgraded the BIOS to the newest version.
BIOS version is 2001

Did you clear the CMOS after you've verified that the BIOS was successfully updated?

Just curious, what is the make and model of your PSU?

Installer made with Media Creation Tool, just before attempting the installation.
I didn't clear the CMOS, only restored to factory settings, I can try clearing it tho.
PSU is a Thermaltake BX1 650W, it's brand new

Okay so, something interesting happened. I tried to add a boot entry from the command prompt using bcd boot and it actually works, it booted to my Windows installation. However, it only does that when I have the installation USB plugged in. Any ideas?
