Hi !!

I was planing to buy one of the ASUS H61 motherboards with a Core i3 2100 CPU. However it seems that Core i3 2100 supports Hyper-Threading, while new asus H61 boards does not. :}

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/P8H61M_PRO/

Can anyone approve or disapprove this ? They just do not mention Hyper-Threading anywhere.. Maybe Hyper-Threading became so common that ASUS doesn't bother to mention that??

Thank You !!

iam no expert but i think Hyper-Threading is a feature of the cpu and any modern board would support it. can sum1 back me up? iam looking to get a h61 myself

However we do have to enable HT via BIOS on some boards. AS far as I can remember...

GeekApproved and Leaps-from-Shadows make my job much easier. Yes all the "6" series chipsets that support the 2nd generation Intel® Core™ processors (socket 1155) do support hyper-threading and it can be enabled or disabled in the Bios. Hyper-threading support is also included on the older "5" series boards (socket 1156 and 1366) that work with the 1st generation Intel® Core™ processors.
