Here is the specs of the motherboard that i am planning to buy:
https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H81MA/#specifications
I believe there is no gen3 or gen2 stated in the specs or features unlike the ASUS H61M-c and i know that it is lga1155 socket. Do i really need pcie gen3 or gen2? or what pcie does this mobo have? will their be a huge significance having gen3 or gen2 than having a stated 1 x PCIe x16 expansion only?i'm planning of having gtx650/660 or hd 7750/7770 and i want to know how it affects the performance.
Also which would u prefer, Latest socket, more advance type of durability), doesnt have gen3 pcie or old socket, less advnce durability features but with pcie gen3. Thanks

If it's in the budget could go for a better mobo, then down the road look at additional upgrades to it, like a higher end CPu etc, and just sort of upgrade as time and budget permits, I normally start with a good build and continually improve it

I'm planning on a pentium g3220 as starting 4gb/8gb ram and asus mobo. Discrete GPu and corei5 cpu for an upgrade maybe a year from now and make it last until the mobo will stop working. hehe
