asus h81m-c with an intel core i5-4690k

can it run without updating the bios? now i have i3 4170 in my pc i'm planning to upgrade to i5 4690k i know that the mobo is not compatible in OC. need help and recommendation

Your motherboard needs at least BIOS Version 2001, with the BIOS updater, to support the i5-4690k.
