Asus h81m-d no display

i recently bought asus h81m-d board with intel dual core g3250.At the first it ran all fine installed win 8.1 pro.i inserted asus driver cd started installing drivers using 'asus install' feature (recommend), it asked to restart i clicked ok hence after that it didn't boot up no display, all fans are running well cpu,gpu (gtx 560 oc) even the optical drive works.so what's the problem? what can i do? pls help.

If using a graphics card, try removing it (connect the monitor to the onboard). Try also clearing the CMOS, power cord unplugged.

i tried both ways but it didn't work

Then try connecting a case speaker to the motherboard, starting it without RAMs and see if getting any beeps.

yes it does give a beep sound

What pattern, single beep only?

I guess that RAMs are installed when getting the single beep. Try testing different monitor/video cable, if possible.

it was the monitor, it doesnt power up.i will have to change it, and thanks for the replies

hi i have one more question, i have installed G.SKILL AEGIS - F3-1600C11S-4GIS (1600mhz) Ram and i also have a Transcend DDR3-1333mhz DDR3 4 GB. Is this both Ram's are compatible to work together or if install the Transcend would it cause problem?

Hi, I'd leave the G.Skill only and if more RAM needed, go for a 2x4 kit.
