[SOLVED] ASUS H81m PLUS GPU

Hi there!

Is the ASUS H81m PLUS motherboard compatible with ASUS GT 730 2GB GDDR5 or any other Nvidia card which has 8.xx BIOS?
I know it fits into the PCIe socket, I'm interested in the software's side of it.
Anybody has experience with this combination?

Yes, it's compatible. Both your motherboard and the card have PCI-E version 2.0. No reason to expect anything else to interfere with this combination working. You'll be fine.

I'm asking because, I've recently bought an used HP 3400 PC with a Foxconn 2ABF motherboard. It fitted into the slot, but it turned out the MB doesn't support newer GPUS with 8.xx BIOS (there are tons of posts about it on the internet). So it stucked on the HP splash screen, and didn't want load windows. The MB's BIOS version is 7.14 and there is no newer version of it, only 7.16. In the shop they told me I can swap the HP 3400 to another PC. I found a better one which has the ASUS H81M-PLUS motherboard. And I just want to make sure it will be compatible with my GPU.
