hi to all expert im planning to buy h97 pro gamer mobo + i5 4440 ghz but i have doubt that the cpu required 8pin connector i have gs600 corsair psu + i have dual x sapphire r9 280 3gb vgraphics my gpu already have 2 6pin connector my question is this enough watts to those i mention.thank you in advance.

Solution
Well think of it this way, they suggest a 500 watt psu for one 7970, those gpus use lots of power.. So I'd say you would really need more power, you'd really be calling it close.

If you are juggling connectors because you lack the amount of connectors, you probably shouldn't be trying to make it work and just get a better psu with enough connectors for your setup.

A PSU isn't something you would want to fall short on 😛

Perhaps a PSU thats 750+

For a system using a single Radeon R9 280 graphics card AMD specifies a minimum of a 500 Watt or greater system power supply. The power supply should also have a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 32 Amps or greater and have at least two 75W 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors. (Minimum system power requirement based on a PC configured with an Intel Core i7 3.2GHz 130 Watt TDP processor.)

Total Power Supply Wattage is NOT the crucial factor in power supply selection!!! Sufficient Total Combined Continuous Power/Current Available on the +12V Rail(s) is the most critical factor.

Overclocking of the CPU and/or GPU(s) may require an additional increase to the maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current ratings, recommended above, to meet the increase in power required for the overclock. The additional amount required will depend on the magnitude of the overclock being attempted.

Corsair GS Series GS600 “2013 Edition” (SKU# 75-001181 / CP-9020063)
• OEM: CWT (Channel Well Technology)
• maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 49 Amps <===== Way more than enough to handle it.
two (6+2)-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors
• Modular Output Cables: No
• Official Intel Haswell Compliance: Yes
• 80 PLUS BRONZE Efficiency Certification
• 3 Year Limited Warranty

Corsair GS Series GS600 (SKU# 75-001181 / CP-9020012)
• OEM: CWT (Channel Well Technology)
• maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 49 Amps <===== Way more than enough to handle it.
two (6+2)-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors
• Modular Output Cables: No
• Official Intel Haswell Compliance: No
• 80 PLUS BRONZE Efficiency Certification
• 3 Year Limited Warranty

The Intel i5-4440, in that system, is a Haswell CPU.

again thanks for your reply. : )

750+? You're joking.

The SAPPHIRE DUAL-X R9 280 draws a maximum of 212 Watts during gaming when manually overclocked. It draws 257 Watts when overclocked and running Furmark. The rest of the system would be drawing less than 200 Watts.

ko888 thanks for your reply, you mean to say i can build this things under gs600 psu.normally for cpu power connector is 4pin right?sorry cause 4 years back i let my friend to biuld my pc and im not familliar how many connectors in my psu.when i check the mobo info i notice 8pins required for power connector.soory im little bit lazzy for this things.i have this things now in my pc and i want to biuld new pc by my own with all experts opinion>
