i hate all of this.

i would like to have the choice between an overclocked and overcooled version
and a very silent version.... all of those are confusing and gives the opportunity to sell underclocked cards for the overclocked price and hope customers don't notice

Agreed with ET.
In addition pricing is totally f'up. Nvidia reference FE card cost $299. Partners were expected to offer cards starting from $250. Even Asus can do value version and sell for that price point.

It's likely the turbo will be closer to the $250 pricepoint. It's really hard to justify a list price of $300 or more for a 1060 card that is just marginally faster and a little more efficient than a 480 which lists for 60-100 less.

*Sigh* Asus, Asus... learn from EVGA. One fan and half-length PCB is what this card needs. Three fans on a mid-range card is madness, and no "overclocking headroom" will justify it. Two is enough for that, and one for stock clocks.

This is so sad. They are just flooding the market with unnecessary cards.

Then comes the TI version of these cards that will make these cards useless so they will disappear.......

Two of these cards I would understand but not five.....
