ASUS HD 5450 Video Card

I upgraded my Dell OptiPlex 320 from XP to Win 8. The upgrade advisor said my graphics card was compatible... card even came with Win 8 drivers. Except Win 8 boot hangs with card installed. Tried Bios option to use on-board video only hoping I could boot and install drivers...but Bios goes into endless loop and drivers won't install without the HD 5450. installed.

Have you tried booting into safe mode?
