My Motherboards Bios interface has turned a predominantly purple color... rather than the usual predominantly black background?

What are the possible causes of this?

I have just updated the Bios and it's still the same purple.

What BIOS version were you on and what BIOS version did you update to?

I have just updated the Bios and it's still the same purple.
Did you clear the CMOS after verifying your BIOS was flashed successfully?

Have you tried hooking the system to another monitor? Changed out display cables?

My Motherboards Bios interface has turned a predominantly purple color.

If the "purple" colour looks like the Magenta area below, perhaps your monitor has lost its green input, leaving just red and blue.

I would start with the cable from GPU to monitor, the chances of the monitor being faulty in this way are very slim, however, a bad connection in the cable is very possible, and with the bios basically being low res, something like 720p (may even be lower res than that, I cant fully remember what resolution it runs at), it could be those parts of the cable playing up especially as you state its only happening in the bios.
