A three-fan, "two and a half slot" (AKA, 3-slot) card isn't "compact". It's still got a big fin stack extension that's longer than the PCB, for gosh sake's!

This is just Nvidia attempting to rebrand what everyone is doing as "compact" because they think it will boost interest and make them seem more premium or something.
