Asus IX Formula CPU Connector

Hey

So i recently buyed the Asus Maximus Formula IX but i have a question
The motherboard cpu power connector seems to have 8 pins, i want to have cablemod cables so when i entered the configurator it said 4+4 pin EPS or 8 Pin EPS i dont now what i should get.

Your motherboard uses 8 that's why you should Get 8 pin EPS because is a solid piece instead of a joint 4+4

Doesn't really matter, both of them would work, however, there is no point in getting a 4+4, as you wouldn't use just one half of it anyway.
