hi, the other night I was playing a game that usually has no problems, but then suddenly it frozeand even Control Alt Delete would not fix the issue. So then I had to forcibly hold down the power button to shut it down. When I turn the computer back on, it's said e that a disk read error occurred and to press Control Alt Delete 2 restart.restarting the computer would not do anything to fix the issue and booting it into safe mode would just return with a black screen. If I booted it into safe mode with the command prompt, the command prompt would appear but I would not be able to type anything in it.I'm assuming that there is a fatal error with my hard drive. At this point I don't really care if the hard drive gets wiped
I just want to fix it and get it running again. thank you

A faulty hard drive is not repairable - you have to replace it.
The read errors will become more frequent, and write errors will begin to appear too.

Buy a new hard drive while the existing one is still (hopefully) able to to be copied with cloning software.
