Hello!

Need your help!

Suddenly my asus laptop (FX553VD), doesn’t boot anymore. Last night, left the laptop hibernating without AC. Now, when powering up, nothing on the screen, and no fan sounds as usually does when powering.
I have the power led up, and also AC led as well.

This happened once or twice in the past, when hibernating without AC plugged, but always recovered easily.

Screen is totally black, no lights or anything on the screen. Can’t even access bios for reset (F2+power?)

Any hint?
I really need this to work asap.
Thanks for your help!

If you have hdmi cable try to plugin it to external monitor and then power up. If you get signal to the external monitor then theres problem with your LCD screen or LCD cable.

2. Remove power cable and then disassembly until you can remove internal battery connector, after disconnecting it press power button continuously for 30seconds without anything plugged in, after that connect power cable (keep battery connector still unconnected) and try to boot. If you dont get picture turn off the laptop by unplugging the power cable and just put battery connector back and assembly it back together, if you get picture with battery disconnected and after assemblying it back with battery connector back in place that might be the issue if you dont...

This video shows how to disassembly, dont short anything when doing it, you can see him remove battery connector at 2m15sec, dont disassembly any further.
