So I wiped out my Asus laptop which was previously running on Windows 7 and installed Windows Vista on it.
Problem I have now is it wont pick up on any networks and cant connect to the internet.
When I diagnose the reason for why that is, it tells me ths computer does not have a wireless network adaptor installed and configured, and tells me to install wireless networking hardware and verify the correct drivers are loaded.
I was aware I would need these drivers but I'm unsure of where to find them and it's been a huge pain transporting files using my flashdrive from my desktop to my laptop only to find they don't work.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
It's an Asus laptop, Model U30J
I am not too computer savvy so I may be way off the mark, any solutions would be great thanks.
I am writing this from a desktop and obviously everything works fine over here.

I don't see any support for "Vista" LAN Drivers for your laptop on Asus's Website. there aren't any on several other sites that have drivers for XP and W7, and a few generic Vista drivers, but nothing for you network card. Any reason you went backwards to Vista. It is well known for being slower than W7! If I were you, I would try this driver first, since W7 is more similar to Vista than XP: ( GoTo LAN driver ):

I am aware Vista is slower, only went back because my desktop is unable to burn CDs and so I was unable to reinstall W7; I had to wipe my laptop because it was having serious issues and I ran out of options. I need this laptop working so I installed the same OS that my desktop is running on. Hoping to get W7 again, but I need internet working on it right now so it'll have to do.
Anyways, thank you for the link, I'll try that.
