ASUS laptop hinge protector fell off(No visible damage to it)

My ASUS laptop model is L502MA, and unless the inner parts were damaged, the hinge itself does not seem damaged, but I am not experienced thus I don't know.

I'm 13, I'm scared It'll cost a lot, but I don't even know how it fell!

Can I put it on again somehow? After a lot of efforts to put it in it's place, it doesn't stick up there, just stays.

I don't see a guide to your laptop for taking it apart, have someone else look at it that has some computer experience to see why it fell off, they may be able to notice something. Aside from that, you may be able to just keep it in with some glue, or just leave it off. Just have someone help you glue it if you want to try it, you don't want to get glue in the wrong places.
