Question asus laptop keyboard issue

i have a asus zenbook, when the laptop goes into sleep mode, i can wake the laptop up with the space bar, then after that the keyboard does not work until i restart the laptop, then the keyboard works again. please help

also it seems like the laptop has to be in sleep mode a while for it to do it.
