Asus laptop reboot problem

Hello,i keep getting reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key, im not very good on computing i have inserted the only disc i got and its still not working please help.

Go into the BIOS and check that its seeing your Hard Drive....

Are you able to boot into safe mode (Tapping F8 key at startup) ?
