I have an ASUS ROG G751JT laptop that I bought in 2015 which lately has been turning off on its own at certain times. One of those times is when I open Windows, sometimes I have to turn it on a few times before I can use it. Another one of those times is when I open a "heavy" game, like Survive the Nights or Final Fantasy XIV (but strangely not Kenshi). Is there anything I can do without bringing it to a technician? I already brought the laptop to one, and he said it's probably the SSD or the PSU, but I had the PSU opened up and was told the voltage was stable and there seemed to be no problems.

Thank you for any assistance, and I wish you all a lovely day/evening!

EDIT: I might as well also mention that the keyboard has an issue where some keys don't register sometimes, and if I type too quickly it doesn't register them properly. So I have to type slower than normal on this laptop.

can you look in event viewer around the times of these multiple start up attempts and see if any errors seem to occur just before each restart.
event 41 (63) will show up after a restart, so look before then
there will be lots of events here, and a few errors. Most errors in here are one offs and can be ignored, but it might offer a clue as to whats happening.

try running hdtune trial on ssd and check its health tab - https://www.hdtune.com/

have you run Asus live update to check you have newest drivers? if its not on Laptop already, you can find it here under utilities - https://www.asus.com/SupportOnly/G751JT/HelpDesk_Download/

Thank you for your reply!
I looked in event viewer and there doesn't seem to be any errors of note before the restart. How may I send the logs here?
HDTune says the SSD is healthy.
Asus Live Update says that all drivers are updated.
I updated my BIOS because it was outdated, and it seemed to fix it for a day or two, but now it's back to turning off every time. Also, part of my keyboard stopped working...
