Asus laptop vs Acer

I am currently in the market for a newish gaming laptop. I do have a budget and have narrowed it down to the ASUS TUF FX504GM-WH51 and
Acer Aspire 7. The actual models are here at this link.

My budget is $1000 and these two seem to be the best bang for their buck. Both are rocking the 1060 which from simple benchmark test seems to blow the 1050/1050ti out of the water. However I am open to any other suggestions. Thank you!

You obviously know which is the better option but i would personally prefer a laptop that's portable, powerful and long lasting. 17-inch laptops are pretty heavy and must be avoided if you frequently travel.

Acer Aspire 7 is the better bang for the buck.
