Hello everyone,
Today I attempted to re-install my Asus X54L laptop.
At first, I accidentally start the whole operation after I inserted the disk, but I stopped it after like 2 seconds. After that I turned it off, but it didn't want to boot from the DVD (tried tapping F8 but the usual "boot from the hard disk drive, cd, usb" list didn't show up, so I went into the BIOS settings to reset the Boot option priorities and set DVD #1. It still wouldn't work that way, so I went back to BIOS and changed everything back to its original state.
Since then, it won't boot normally, ASUS Preload Wizard shows up every time I turn it on.
Tried booting in safe mode and from the DVD, but nothing worked.

Before this, the hard disk drive worked properly, no error messages were seen.
What did I do wrong that caused this problem?

There are 3 options I can choose from :

1.Recover Windows to first partition only
2.Recover Windows to entire HD
3.Recover Windows to entire HD with two partitions.

I actually wouldn't mind if I lost all the files that are stored on my "C" drive (where I installed win 7 earlier as well), because I copied everything important to my other internal HDD.
