Hey,

It's been a while since I've upgraded my PC. As the HDD I have is making a lot of rotary noise and lacking on the ability to load things quickly I am thinking of upgrading to a SSD. I have noticed that PCI-E SSD's get a better read/write time but I'm concerned my motherboard doesn't support this type and I will be forced to use a SATA type SSD instead.

My motherboard is the ASUS LGA 1151 TUF MK2 Intel Z270. Does anyone know if this would support this type of SSD?

Whilst I'm on, my GPU has not been upgraded since 2013 so I'm in the market for a new one of these, any suggestions?

Any additional upgrade recommendations? I primarily use this PC for gaming.

Complete setup:
Asus Nvidia GeForce 2GB GTX 670 DirectCU II Graphics Card
Asus LGA 1151 TUF MK2 Intel Z270
Intel Core i7-7700K 4.2 GHz QuadCore 8MB Cache Processor
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo Air CPU Cooler "RR-212E-16PK-R1, 4 x Heatpipe, 1x 120mm PWM Fan, Intel/AMD"
Cooler Master 720W Silent Pro M2
2x Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 8GB RAM

Thanks
