Asus m2n sli deluxe

I am looking to upgrade my pc to be able to handle battlefield 3. I was going to upgrade my motherboard, PSU and CPU because I thought this MB was only capable of dual core. It seems as thought it can handle x4 according to this :

I just want to verify if this information is correct, if it is it will be saving me a lot of money! Can someone suggest me a CPU upgrade and anything I should know before buying. Since I do not have to buy all three components (and more probably) my budget is not to much of a problem, I am not looking for a 900 dollar cpu though. Will I have to update the bios and such or will it just be plug in and get started?

I just downloaded speccy and noticed this in my motherboard read out :

CPU CORE 1.264 V
MEMORY CONTROLLER 3.168 V
+5V 4.758 V
+12V 11.456 V
+5V HIGH THRESHOLD 4.677 V
CMOS BATTERY 2.976 V
+3.3V 3.302 V

Is this bad? Do I need a better power supply? Or is the numbers being so close normal?
