ASUS M32BF UEFI BIOS startup issue

So yesterday I purchased an Asus M32BF model desktop computer with Windows 8.1. When I got it all setup like described and shown in the instructions, I booted it up for the first time. Once I clicked the power button, I already confronted a problem. The PC booted up to a screen with the Asus logo and with a message saying, "Please press F2 or Del to enter UEFI BIOS settings". Trying to proceed, I try both buttons, and it is not responding to the machine. Please help. Oops, I forgot to mention that I got it to work last night, but the problem came back today and no hope of getting it up and working. Do you think I had to go through that UEFI BIOS settings again? Or is it a one time thing?

If you can, boot into BIOS and set optimized defaults and make sure your memory is set up right too. All this should have been done which makes me think there might be a problem with the comp.

Thanks for the help, I might as well just return it as booting into BIOS requires having the computer on and logged in. Thanks again.
