I have an old computer with Asus M4A79Xtd Evo Motherboard with Phenom II X4 CPU, 16GB Memory. I tried to upgrade to GTX 1060 Graphic Card, a black screen came out. I tried upgrade BIOS, reboot, ... still black screen. Any hints are highly appreciated!

Despite the fact that it will be very restricted, the 1060 should be fully compatible.

Is the graphics card new?

Is your monitor plugged into the 1060 or the motherboard?

Have you tried booting into Safe Mode, does that work?

Thanks a lot for your help. Yes, it is a new card from Amazon.
I tried DDU in safe mode, shut down, then replace the graphic card.
Always get black screen, yet mouse and keyboard seems functional.
