Hello, can i ask whether this MB would support a Phenom X 2 555 which i want to overclock to 4 cores and also whether my GTX460 would be compatiable. I currently have a GF8100VM-M5 MB. Would there be much difference in performance? If not can anyone recommend one that will for a similar price. Any advice most appreciated.

Yes that CPU is supported. The motherboard it self will not give you a performance increase but a successful core unlock or overclock will!
