Was curious if anyone could tell me what RAM works best on the ASUS M4A88T-M AM3 mobo with an AMD Phenom II 3.4ghz cpu. I know it has MEM ok feature but was just curious if anyone has experience with it. I wanted to get 2 sticks of 2 gig each. Looking to run Win XP Pro on it.

MEM ok is a cool feature to help you troubleshoot a bad or improperly installed memory module. Press it and it lights a light next to the socket that has a problem. 1st step on a new build, re-seat the module. If it's worked for a while then you get the problem, then you know where the culprit RAM module sits. Kinda cool, not something you use all the time though. :)

Kingston lists these SKUs:
Kit of 2x2GB
KVR1333D3N9K2/4G

2GB module
KVR1333D3N9/2G

Crucial's equivalent:
Kit
CT2KIT25664BD1339

EDIT: provided the mfgrs links so you can see...

EDIT: provided the mfgrs links so you can see other SKUs. I gave the generic family parts, best for most's use. But if you're going to overclock, then you might want to look at some of the higher spec'd parts on the respective pages.

I was looking at the Hyper X by Kingston a couple of days ago.....I see they list it under that mobo. Maybe I could give that a whirl? I was looking at some G.Skill also but kept going back to the Hyper X.
