ASUS M5 A97 R2.0

Just finished building out with an AMB Phenon II 4x 965 chip. It won't begin to start: no fans, no nothing, really, except the green power LED. Checked all wires several times and can't find anything wrong. I'd really appreciate some wisdom, or even better, positive suggestions.

I took everything apart and started over , paying as close attention as my age (81) allows to your instruction page. I still don't know what was wrong, but now it works! THANKS!
