ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS not detecting my 16gb of ram?

I use 8gb right now and it works fine but when I try the 16gb it just doesnt post. I know for a fact that the 16 works because i've tested it in another computer. That RAM is not listed as one of their supported modules.

Sorry for the late reply. I am aware it isn't on the supported list but since it is 1600mhz and 16gb like other supported modules, is there any bios tweaks I can try? My bios is also on the latest version.

I am not aware of anything you can try other than a supported 16GB kit.
