Asus M5A78L-M-USB3 Memory Compatibilty

Hello,

I have the ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 MB with a SolidGear 650W Power Supply (SDGR-650E). I am running a AMD FX-8300 CPU.


Can I use 2 sticks of:
PNY XLR8 8GB DDR3 1866Mhz CAS 10 Desktop Kit (PC3 14900)
PN - MD8192SD3-1866-K-X10

In this setup? The memory is not listed on the ASUS QVL list.

I don't care for PNY , I like Gskill and lately Kingston.

But with the 8350 you should be able to run 1866.

Might have to go into the BIOS under DRAM settings to choose it.
