Asus m5a78l-m/usb3 Not Displaying Video

Greetings.

I'm not exactly a brainiac so go easy on me.
My Asus m5a78l-m/usb3 won't display video when the asus r9 380 is hooked up to the mobo, While in POST the mobo makes 2 beeps. I dediced to setup everything without the graphics card plugged in, thinking it had something to do with the drivers. After I installed Windows and the drivers for the motherboard, I went ahead and plugged the GPU back in, and still no signal.

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated

-Asus m5a78l-m/usb3
-Asus STRIX R9 380 2gb
-AMD FX-6300
-Kingston 4gb DDR3 1600
-EVGA 600B
-WD 1TB HDD

Do you have the power plug in the video card?

Before trying the card again, check for a BIOS and chipset driver update from Asus support.

Yes the card is fully connected, at least the white LED says so.

About the BIOS, I forgot to mention that I cannot get into the BIOS at all, in fact every time I press the DEL key, the Select an operative system to boot up the system screen appears. Even with the chipset drivers installed.

Yes the card is fully connected, at least the white LED says so.

You can't get into the BIOS setup even without the video card in the system? It may be a motherboard issue then.

You can't get into the BIOS setup even without the video card in the system? It may be a motherboard issue then.

The computer boots Windows just fine, it detects all my devices and there's no temperature problem from what I can see. Everything works like a charm without the video card plugged in, except for the BIOS.

So yeah, apparently it's a motherboard issue. I'll contact Asus CS and see what they have to say.

Whatever their response is, I'll post the status of the motherboard here.
