Q, Problem: Coolermaster Storm Scout Case custom build. ASUS M5A78L-M USB3 Motherboard AMD FX 8120 EIGHT-CORE-Processer and Corsiar x4 ddr3 memory . Started using this board after some great reviews and when turning on for the first time I noticed the LED lights on my speekers was still on even though my system was turned off. I thought this was normal so as it never interfeared with the proformance so I continued to use it as daily. 3 months down the line when on start-up the words "Activate All Core Press 4" have disappeared. Now my system turns off when in use. A type of blue screen appears saying disable Bios / Shadowing and Catching. Registry is fine and I have the latest ReCurePro installed and all check out. Drivers and updates are fine and computer 1tb Seagate HDD drive is maintained to top speck. I first I thought it was CPU power supply Problem and change it for more power preforming one. Checked the world on this problem and there's so many different answers. Is it a board problem causing this problem or could it be the CPU or the AMD Processing Chip.

A, Solved: This problem was solved by reintalling the origonal bios 0801 as the asus update installed the wrong one. Hope this help anyone with similar problem.

Anyone with the same motherboard can you share with me what type DDR3 ram you have in your board and how its behaving.

I'm going to suggest removing RegCurePro - save it onto disk for when you suspect your registry is corrupted then run it again and remove it again. When a registry is corrupted and you are not comfortable working in there (it is a dangerous place at times) my suggested method to fix it is to do a reinstall of the Operating System. Often the programs that are suppose to 'fix' registries end up corrupting them, especially if left running all the time. You may need to do a OS re-install, just don't put RegCure into the machine unless you are having problems - even then only long enough for a sweep.
Hope it helps
