[SOLVED] ASUS M5A97 Boot; No Display

Hey,

So my computer was running all fine for months. One day, it just stopped displaying. It would power but no display. I started troubleshooting and it booted with one stick of ram. After a bunch of fiddling around, I got it to boot with two sticks. 16GBs DDR3 rather than 32. I was content enough to continue doing what I was doing, but tonight it wouldn't boot again. It will boot with one stick of ram but not two. I know it's not a compatibility issue because it has worked before. I know the PSU, CPU, and GPU is working because everything still boots. There is a memOK light that is glowing solid red. When I looked into that, it said there was a compatibility issue. But like I said, I don't think it's that.

PSU- Corsair CX600
GPU- GeForce GTX 1060 GB
RAM- 4 sticks of Kingston Hyperfury 1866 mhz 16GB ddr3
CPU- AMD fx 8320e

Did you press the MemOk! button when you had 2 sticks installed?
Did you run any other overclocks besides the memory?

OP started with 4 and is now down to 1. So 3 sticks failed back-to-back?

I have used the MemOk! button quite a few times trying to get it working but no luck. I am going to try one stick of ram at a time. Will post update.

Some sticks will boot while others won't. I've also received "Overclocking Failed". Although I am not overclocking. I'm running the memory at 1600mhz

After looking at the speed after it "failing to overclock". It was at 800mhz. I put it back to 1600mhz and now it works with all 4 sticks.

Wait. I'm confused. It wouldn't boot w/RAM at 800MHz (?), but is fine at 1600MHz? And the RAM is rated 1866MHz?
