Hello,
I am writing here because I am out of ideas what could be wrong or what else could I do. I would appreciate any suggestions...

The computer won`t boot.
A red CPU LED light goes on when I push the power button.
After pressing the MemOK button a red DRAM light starts flashing.
The monitor is black.
The CPU fan goes on.

Things I have already checked:
- plugins (24PIN and 8 PIN)
- removed the memory and tried to put it in every slot (both and one at a time, doesn`t work. The memory sticks are ok because I`ve tried them on a second computer, swapping the sticks from the second PC is useless)
- removed the graphics and tried another one in the second PCI-E slot (no good)
- checked the CPU (all pins are OK, everything is attached properly)
- removed the battery from the mainboard

Hardware:
Case:Silentium Gladius M40
MB: ASUS M5A97 EVO R2.0
CPU: AMD X8 FX-8350
CPU COOLING: SilentiumPC Spartan Pro HE924
GRAPHICS: ASUS GF GTX970 4096MB 256bit PCI-E DirectCU II OC
MEMORY: HyperX 2x8GB DDR3-1600 Dual Chanel Kit Non-ECC CL9 XMP Savage Series HX316C9SRK2/16
POWER SUPPLY: AeroCool VP-750

Is there anything else I can do?

Thank you for your time :)

Hey, what do you mean by new setup?
I ve built this pc from scratch
The last 4 digits are 2501

And if the CPU doesn`t work what can be the reason (all things that I`ve bought are new from a good store) ?

I also forgot to mention that in a specific configuration - when swapping the memory sticks - the computer starts beeping - 1 long and 2 short beeps.

OK, so my old CPU is an AMD Phenom X4 955 black edition. I placed the old CPU in the new mainboard. No result. The same red lights flash. The old mainboard is not compatible with the new AMD X8 CPU so I assume that the new MB is invalid. I`ll send it tomorrow to ASUS Company. We`ll see...I`ll write something new when I get the answer from the producer.
The problem with the CPU is that I cannot find the bill...damn, can only hope that I did not throw it away when cleaning the room...

All right, I`ve talked to the technician. The MB came back yesterday so I am going to pick it up tomorrow. From what he said I know that the`ve loaded new BIOS because there was something wrong during the tests. I will try to gather my stuff together and if the PC works I`ll inform you guys right away. Luckily I had the receipt :)
