So I upgraded my PC, got new motherboard (asus M5A97 le r2.0), CPU (AMD FX 8320) and ram (kingston hyperx 1600mhz 8gb). Installed everything and started getting problems. Bios worked just fine, everything was recognized, got one beep for successful start. Still, windows wouldn't load. Thought that problem is just incompatible drivers so I tried reinstalling windows. Tried reinstalling from usb. And there was my first problem. USB booted just fine, it got to "Windows is loading files" screen and then just froze at the end. Still, after several reboots, it got past that, windows started installing fine, but after restart during installation I kept getting black screen after bios. Strangely, after several restarts with trying different bios settings, windows continued installation and finished it. It still wouldn't boot normally, but sometimes (very rarely), it actually started and loaded windows. But after restart it still is back to black screen after asus logo. I tried memtest86 to see if CPU or ram could be faulty. It usually just crashed after a few seconds of test, but in one case I managed it to run a full test. It didn't show any errors.
I am starting to think that problem could be faulty motherboard. Problem should be in one of the new parts since I took HDD, video card and PSU from the old PC and they are working just fine.
Anyway, my system:
AMD FX 8320 CPU
Asus M5A97 le r2.0 motherboard
Kingston hyperx 8gb 1600mhz ram
GTX 560 ti video card
Western digital 1tb sata HDD
OCZ 500W PSU
